The Regina Pats' first winning streak of the season came to an abrupt halt Thursday night with a 7-2 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Four unanswered goals powered the Swift Current Broncos to an 8-5 WHL victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Thursday at the Brandt Centre.

The cash is coming from Ottawa’s Investing in Canada fund. The pot has $31.1 million earmarked for Saskatchewan.
