Close access to the eruption site due to weather
The police authorities for the Reykjanes peninsula area have decided to close access to the eruption site at Meradalir. It started at 5 AM this morning and the decision will be reevaluated tomorrow afternoon.

Since nine o'clock last night there have been over 1200 earthquakes detected. Nine of those have been more than 3M and the biggest of those was last night just before 2:30AM. The last one of those was detected at 6:46 AM and it was 3.2M.
