Tuesday's new infections pushed the Philippines' total COVID count to 2,731,735.

Several video posts on Facebook and YouTube claimed that the Commission on Elections had confirmed the disqualification of Vice President Leni Robredo, supposedly due to a crowdfunding initiative by her team. These claims are false.

"My order includes coordination with our LGUs in Metro Manila to properly implement the minimum public health safety protocols and other restrictions to be enforced in NCR," said Eleazar.

"The 30 schools are definitely those that will start on November 15," an education official said Tuesday.

Several charges are recommended by the panel against President Rodrigo Duterte's appointees, including his former economic adviser Michael Yang and former PS-DBM chief Lloyd Christopher Lao. 

The government’s pandemic task force is expanding the COVID-19 alert level system outside of Metro Manila, placing 19 areas outside of the capital region under varying alert levels from October 20 to October 31.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology said that 38,811 out of 123,848 Persons Deprived of Liberty under their custody, or 31.34%, have completed their doses against COVID-19.

OCTA said rate is now at 0.55. The last time it was at this level was in May this year, or at 0.56. 

The Supreme Court has expanded its operational capacity reporting physically to some of its offices to 30% from 15% from October 20 to 29 as Metro Manila graduates to Alert Level 3.
